Join us for a Mental Health Check-In after the unveiling of Josh's Bench to raise awareness on Mental Health & Suicide Prevention. The evening will include activities such as coloring, painting, and journaling, all while enjoying s'mores, cookies, and hot chocolate.
The unveiling will be taking place at Noon in the Southeast corner of UHB, facing the parking lot near the sidewalk.

FirstGen Forward, formerly the Center for First-generation Student Success, has named the University of Illinois Springfield as one of 60 new members of the FirstGen Forward Network for 2025-26. The designation recognizes UIS for its strong commitment to improving experiences and advancing success for first-generation college students.
The departmental program review process empowers departments within the Division of Student Affairs to critically evaluate their work and their effect on the student experience through a lens of continuous improvement. The review process is an opportunity for departments to take a comprehensive and critical look at the unit, to clearly state and evaluate strengths and weaknesses, and to outline a plan for future action.
