UIS students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the 2025 University of Illinois Springfield University Experience Survey. This study is vital for understanding our university and guiding initiatives to create an even better environment for our entire community.
During the Fall 2024 semester, UIS began a holistic academic portfolio review (APR). An Academic Portfolio Review Task Force (APRTF) was formed and received a charge from Provost Schwab to develop recommendations for conducting the APR. The APRTF meet weekly from November 2024 through January 2025 and delivered their Recommendations for a Comprehensive Portfolio Review of Academic Programs at the University of Illinois Springfield to the provost on February 3, 2025.
In an effort to reduce survey fatigue the Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness works with other units on campus to plan, organize, and monitor surveys involving the UIS students, faculty, staff, and alumni populations. Individuals interested in administering a survey to a significant portion of the UIS community (≥10% of the target population) are asked to complete the Campus Survey Administration Request form.
The Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness partners with the UIS community on strategic initiatives and projects.
