A participation confirmation was sent earlier today via email to all those who have taken the necessary steps to participate in this year’s UIS Commencement. If a confirmation email was not sent to your official University of Illinois email address, it means that you are not registered as participating in this year’s commencement. Only those students who received a participation confirmation will be allowed to participate. Therefore, if you feel that you should have received a confirmation and did not, you must contact us immediately (
Eligible students who have not already submitted the onlineIntent to Participate form MUST do so no later than MONDAY, March 24 (see email below for more information). Without your participation confirmation, we will not know of your intent to participate. Therefore, you MUST submit your online intent by the deadline date.

Students graduating in Spring 2025 or Summer 2025 must submit an online Graduation Application via Student Self-Service (https://apps.uillinois.edu/ - “Graduation” tab) by the deadlines listed below:
Students graduating in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 must submit an online Graduation Application via Student Self-Service (https://apps.uillinois.edu/ - “Graduation” tab) by October 7, 2024 (Fall 2024) or February 21, 2024 (Spring 2025). Students MUST be sure to verify that all curriculum information is listed accurately BEFORE submitting an online Graduation Application (including major, minor, concentration, etc.).
Students graduating in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 must submit an online Graduation Application via Student Self-Service (https://apps.uillinois.edu/ - “Graduation” tab) by October 7, 2024 (Fall 2024) or February 21, 2025 (Spring 2025).
