Microsoft announced the end-of-life date for the Windows 10 Operating System as October 14, 2025. After this date, no further updates or security patches will be available for Windows 10. UIS Information Technology Services has developed the following plan to upgrade to Windows 11.

Student and Faculty Self-Service will be unavailable from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11 while these systems are being upgraded to a new user experience. Self-Service will be upgraded to a new, modernized look and feel. Along with this upgrade, a new landing page will be created called myUIconnect. The myUIconnect landing page will present users with cards containing links to self-service functionalities.
Please be aware that Parking Lot E will be closed from early morning through 12:00 PM today, Friday, February 2 so that school children may safely enter the UIS Performing Arts Center for the school performances of Books on Stage. Thank you.

Construction Project Highlights
Facilities & Services recently wrapped up several renovation and revitalization projects, including Anatomage Teaching and Learning Labs, the UHB 2029 Computer Lab Renovation, and the Food Pantry Renovation and Relocation, just to name a few. A handful of completed projects are highlighted in the following sections.
