As we begin another fall season at UIS, I am writing to invite you to participate in the State and University Employees Combined Appeal (SECA) campaign. SECA offers our dedicated faculty and staff a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities across Illinois and beyond. It is an opportunity for us to unite as a university and create a collective impact through our charitable giving.

I am happy to announce that Gabe Cagwin, PhD, will be the new vice chancellor for advancement at UIS, pending Board of Trustees approval. Gabe will serve as vice-chancellor designate until anticipated BOT action in November. He will also serve as senior vice president for the University of Illinois Foundation.
