The UIS women's golf team will travel to Owensboro, Ky., to compete in the Bill Crabtree Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 5, and Monday, Oct. 6. The two-round event will be played at The Pearl Club and is hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan College.
UIS will face a competitive field that includes Young Harris, Maryville (Mo.), McKendree, Kentucky Wesleyan, Thomas More, and John A. Logan.

Woods tied for second place overall in a 95-golfer field, carding rounds of 68-76-67 for a total score of 211 (-5). He finished tied for third in par-4 scoring average (3.97) and fourth in total birdies (14), helping the Prairie Stars remain competitive at the tournament.
