Undergraduate Undecided

The Undergraduate Undecided program allows students to explore a range of academic disciplines before choosing a major. This flexible approach gives students the opportunity to discover their interests and strengths while completing general education requirements.

With guidance from dedicated academic advisors, students can make informed decisions about their educational and career goals. The program supports a smooth transition to a declared major, ensuring students stay on track for graduation while finding the path that's right for them.

Pre-Nursing

Your pathway to a bachelor of science in nursing begins with UIS Pre-Nursing. Your first two years of general education and nursing prerequisite courses are provided by highly-skilled UIS faculty, with a seamless transition to UIC Nursing Springfield, also on the UIS campus, for years three and four.

Non-Degree Undergraduate

Undergraduate non-degree seeking students are not required to file all documents necessary for admission to a degree program, but will be asked for clarification of their educational intent before exceeding 16 semester hours. Non-degree students are subject to the same academic probation and suspension policies as degree-seeking students.
