Presented by the UIS Alumni SAGE Society
Dear colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming system-wide Student & Employee Mental Health and Well-being Committee event, "Advancing Student and Employee Health and Well-Being as a Health Promoting University", scheduled for Wednesday, October 9 at 1 – 3 p.m. CST, free via Zoom. Register now!
Dear Colleagues,
Work begins September 5 on the PAC Roof Replacement Project. Contractor equipment and materials will be staged in the lot on the southwest side of the building, near the loading dock and stage door.
For safety reasons, this lot will be closed to all non-contractor vehicles from September 4 to October 25, to provide a dedicated area for roofing crews to safely operate and work.
The equipment Biennial Inventory 2025 - UIS Biennial Cycle is starting today. If you are listed as the responsible Unit Contact or Unit Head, please go to Biennial Inventory to get started and to view your unit’s due dates. State of Illinois regulations and University policy require Units to biennially complete and certify a physical inventory of movable equipment. For Unit Heads and authorized delegates, this process is a portion of your custodial responsibilities.
The next Civil Service Advisory Council meeting will be held tomorrow, September 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. via Zoom. All civil service employees are welcome to attend.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to any CSAC member.
Thank you,
Aaron Stewart
