I’m writing to share an update about how students will access their ebooks and digital materials starting Fall ‘25. Our bookstore partner, Follett Higher Education, is introducing Kortext, a new ebook platform that will improve the student and faculty experience with digital course materials.

What is Kortext?

Kortext is a leader in ebook delivery, trusted by over 7,000 campuses and 3 million students globally. The Kortext platform offers you and your students:

UIS is committed to protecting minors who visit campus so they can enjoy the wonderful events and programs our community offers. For departments that want to offer programs to minors (persons under the age of eighteen (18)), our Protection of Minors page has detailed information on planning and hosting an event for young visitors.

With the start of the semester upon us, we wanted to remind you of the many tools and resources that are available to support you and your students.

On Wednesday, August 20, parking Lot I-North and Lot I-South will be closed to campus for parking due to new student move in.

Thank you for your cooperation as we welcome new and returning students to campus.

Sincerely,

UIS Parking
