The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present “Gemstones,” a group exhibition that features an accomplished roster of local, regional and national artists that have also served as donors to the gallery. WHAT: The University of Illinois Springfield and the Springfield Art Association present “Krzysztof Wodiczko: The Art of Un-War,” a film screening and Q&A with Krzysztof Wodiczko and award-winning filmmaker and artist Maria Niro. The film documentary chronicles the life and political work of Wodiczko, an internationally acclaimed artist. This event is free and open to the public.

Student Directed Scenes offers two opportunities to view students’ final projects in the course Directing for the Theatre (THE 476).
Student Directed Scenes will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 2 in the Studio Theatre, located on the lower level of the Public Affairs Center building at UIS. Admission is free.
