The State Department of Central Management Services (CMS) has announced that the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Benefit Choice enrollment period will begin May 1 and end June 2, 2025

The Division of Advancement is seeking projects to consider for awarding one-time (non-reoccurring) money from the UIS Fund. Throughout the year, UIS alumni, employees and friends make contributions to the UIS Fund, the overall unrestricted gift fund for UIS. This fund provides maximum flexibility in advancing UIS.

The search for the UIS Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration has yielded four finalists. They will be visiting campus for interviews on April 28, 29 and May 1, 2.

Can you give a brief timeline of how your career led you to UIS?

My journey to the University of Illinois Springfield began as an undergraduate, studying political science and sociology/anthropology. I also was a CAP Honors student, received a varsity tennis scholarship and served as captain of the women’s varsity tennis team during my senior year.
