The UIS Visual Arts Gallery presents “OVER/LOOK,” a mixed media exhibition of works by graduating seniors from the UIS Visual Arts Department. “OVER/LOOK” will open on Monday, April 25 and run through Thursday, May 12. A reception will be held in the UIS Visual Arts Gallery from 5 :30-8 p.m. Thursday, April 28. This event is free and open to the public.

UIS Visual Arts Gallery presents “Midway,” a survey of works by Chicago-based artist Ann Toebbe
The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present “Midway,” a survey of works that span the last ten years by Chicago-based artist Ann Toebbe. “Midway”will open on Monday, March 21, and will run through Thursday, April 14. A reception will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24.
In conjunction with this exhibit, the UIS Visual Arts Gallery will host a remote artist talk at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 30. This event is open to the public. Participants can join via Zoom.
Terrain Exhibitions
Founded in Oak Park, Illinois by artist Sabina Ott in 2011, the Terrain Biennial has produced five editions in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and now 2021. Terrain Exhibitions brings contemporary art where it is most needed and least expected: yards, front steps, windows, porches, and roofs in residential neighborhoods across the U.S. (and beyond).
