The University of Illinois Springfield Theatre Program will present six performances of “Medea” by Euripides opening on Friday, Oct. 28 in the Studio Theatre, located on the lower level of the Public Affairs Center at UIS.
All shows will begin at 7:30 p.m., except the Sunday performance (Oct. 30), which will begin at 2 p.m. Opening weekend performance dates include Oct. 28-30. The following week, the play will be performed Nov. 3-5.
The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery presents “Motif: Silent Language,” an exhibition of mixed-media fiber works by Turkish artist Hale Ekinci. “Motif: Silent Language” will open on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 and will run through Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022.
WHAT: The University of Illinois Springfield invites the community to the 44th annual International Festival. The longest running student-led program in the history of the University, the festival features live cultural performances and samples of food from around the world. Admission is free.
