Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes.

A Psychology major at UIS helps you understand human behavior and prepares you for a wide range of careers—in health care, government, business, research, education, and beyond.

Our students are driven to make a difference and deepen their understanding of human nature. With faculty actively engaged in impactful research, you’ll have opportunities to turn curiosity into real-world change.
