The UIS Flute Choir is available to UIS students, faculty and staff, and community members. A small ensemble with between five to ten players, the UIS Flute Ensemble performs a wide variety of music for flutes including traditional repertoire, new music, and transcriptions. The UIS Flute Choir gives at least one major performance each semester.
How to Join
UIS students interested in joining the UIS Flute Choir for course credit can register for MUS 105/305 Instrumental Ensemble: Flute Choir.
Community musicians and UIS musicians interested in joining the UIS Band without enrolling for course credit should fill out a brief information form. Participation is welcome by musicians 12+.
