Business Administration students who choose the Management concentration will develop the critical, conceptual and interpersonal skills that are essential to employment in management positions in all types of organizations.

Shipra Gupta, an associate professor of marketing in the Department of Management, Marketing and Operations at the University of Illinois Springfield, has been named University Scholar for 2023. The award, considered the University of Illinois System's highest faculty honor, recognizes outstanding teaching and scholarship. Only one faculty member receives the annual award at UIS.

This collaborative venture, which took place June 16-30, 2023, has opened up new avenues for research in the field of negotiation studies.

Forbes has named the University of Illinois Springfield’s business administration bachelor’s degree (BBA) a top online program for 2023. According to Forbes, the UIS online BBA made the list because of its low average annual net price, high student retention rate and low student-to-faculty ratio.
