Good morning,
The next Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) meeting is Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10:00 am. Below is the link to the Zoom meeting and the agenda. We will have a special presentation on the budget and fiscal operations of the University by Dr. Ken Kriz, Interim Vice-Chancellor for Finance & Administration.
We hope you join us!
Agenda: December 6, 2023
Join us as we pack the house for our women’s and men’s basketball teams! While this event is called APAC the House, of course we’d be more than happy to welcome our civil service and faculty colleagues. Admission is FREE for employees and children 12 and under. All general admission is $8 for other family and friends above 12 years old that wish to attend.
Looking forward to seeing you there next Thursday night!
Craig McFarland
APAC Chair
Good morning,
The University Senates Conference (USC), in conjunction with various stakeholders of the University of Illinois System, has proposed significant changes to the Code of Conduct. USC has requested feedback on this new University of Illinois System Values and Principles for Conduct document from each University within the System, to be collected by the respective Campus Senate.
Campus Community,
The UIS Police Department will be conducting a brief lockdown test of the swipe card door access system from 8:45am until approximately 9:00am on Thursday, November 16. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This test will not include any testing of the audible notification systems. If you have any additional considerations that may require access to swipe card doors during these times, please contact our department in advance via e-mail or phone.
Dear colleagues:
It’s not too late to help us reach our goal of $36,000 for charities participating in the SECA campaign. Please consider making a gift today!
