In May 2019, the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences hosted a commencement and honors reception for its graduating seniors. Students and faculty were able to share stories and say good-bye one final time before the graduation ceremony. Various departments gave out awards to their outstanding graduates. In the Psychology Department, the following awards were given to our graduating seniors:

Marsha Darlington was selected as Psychology Department Student Marshal. This award is given to the student who “best exemplifies the spirit and goals of the program.” The Student Marshal leads psychology students in the procession at the graduation commencement ceremony. Marsha was selected based on her academic success, her leadership skills, and the incredible respect and kindness that she shows to everyone around her.

Hannah Nordby received an Outstanding Student Scholar award. Hannah received this award for her notable achievements in research. Hannah has worked with professors on several research projects and has presented her research findings at local and regional conferences.

Ethan Biegeleisen received an Outstanding Online Student award. Ethan received this award for his impressive record of academic achievement in the new online Psychology B.A. program.
