What was your overall UIS experience like?

I have an overall 10/10 experience at UIS. If UIS had an LLM/JD program I think that I'll still be enrolled there today. I loved the curriculum and the unique approach to studying and learning. I kick myself for not being involved in any clubs or activities. However, there's still time because I would love a second Masters!

What was your overall UIS experience like?

I was a full-time online student at UIS. It was a great experience. The teachers and staff made it a good experience being online full-time in addition to working full-time.
I was a writer for the UIS Observer during my last semester at UIS.

I received the Star Student Volunteer award my senior year at UIS.

What was your overall UIS experience like?

I attended UIS to earn my MPA. I was a part time student who was working on political campaigns like Governor Bruce Rauner's successful election in 2014. While at UIS I volunteered as a coach for the undergraduate mock trial team. I was also a paid English tutor working at the CLT.

The knowledge and skills I gained at UIS were instrumental in advancing my career. Thanks to the hands-on experience I had during my studies, I was able to advance my leadership roles with confidence and a solid foundation.

My experience at UIS fostered an environment where I could stay deeply focused on both professional and personal growth. The close-knit campus community, intimate class sizes, and supportive faculty created a space where I could truly invest in myself and my future. During my time there, I came to understand that determination, discipline, and service to others are essential, fulfilling, and deeply rewarding.

What was your overall UIS experience like?

I graduated with a BA in Accounting. UIS's flexible schedule and focusing on working students, which was not common at that time, was extremely important to me. I learned Accounting while at UIS, which led me to a 40 year career in all kinds of financial positions. I was a member of the Accounting Club.

My experience at UIS was incredible. The faculty were knowledgeable, helpful and had high standards for learning. I was teaching 4th grade during the time I was enrolled so I did not have a lot of time to participate in activities.
