Capital Scholars Honors Program Reunion Weekend
The Capital Scholars Honors Program Reunion will be a celebration for the founding classes of the program. The reunion will host various different activities throughout the day for those attending. This is an invite only activity.
Alumni Rising Star Award
Purpose
The University of Illinois Springfield Rising Star Alumni Award, established in 2023, is an honor bestowed upon alumni of the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS). The award is presented to those alumni aged 35 or younger, or who have graduated within the previous five (5) years. Recognized are those who have demonstrated emerging and unique innovation, creativity and success in their chosen career, and whose accomplishments reflect admirably upon or bring honor to their Alma Mater.
Friday Night Soccer Fest
Join Alumni and Friends of all ages for Oktoberfest hospitality in celebration of the UIS men’s and women’s soccer programs. A family-friendly activity with hospitality for all ages. Complimentary Oktoberfest- themed foods will accompany traditional concession stand items. Fireworks follow conclusion of Men’s soccer match.

The Chancellor is hosting a gathering by invitation over hors d'oeuvres and drinks to celebrate the season’s many holidays, our many diverse friendships, and prepare for the new calendar year.

This is a relaxed and casual event for all ages, and is family-friendly. Come for food, share camaraderie and if you desire, try your hand at Pickleball or other fun games.
New to Pickleball? Free instruction to be provided, and guests can enjoy property amenities to the level of their comfort.
