Student Conduct Code

Article I: Nature of the Code

The purpose of the Student Conduct Code is to uphold community standards, maintain personal accountability, and encourage student learning. By codifying the above set of values, the Student Conduct Code establishes the core set of expectations for students and provides the mechanisms to encourage students to uphold UIS’ values and to communicate a set of student rights and responsibilities. The Student Conduct Code is intended to be educational and non- adversarial in nature to promote student development of responsible conduct and actions.
