Guiding Stars: New Student Orientation

This In-person Orientation program is for undergraduate First-Year (Freshmen/women) and Freshmen/women Transfer Students admitted to the Summer and Fall 2024 semesters. It is the second, of a 3 part series of programs for students entering their first-year or transferring with less than 24 credit hours. The University of Illinois Springfield is excited to announce its upcoming in-person orientation event for newly admitted transfer and graduate students, titled “Taking Care of Business.” This event is designed to provide essential resources and support to ensure a smooth transition to campus life.

The session will take place from 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 1 in the UIS Public Affairs Center and is ideal for students taking summer classes.
