2024 Holiday Happy Hour
All faculty and staff are invited to a Holiday Happy Hour from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, in the Student Union Ballroom. The event will feature music, drinks and appetizers to celebrate the season. Release time will be in effect.

Non-Tenure Track (NTT) Faculty Union Contract Negotiation Updates
The University of Illinois Springfield and UPI Local 4100 Non-Tenure Track Faculty Union began negotiating the union’s first contract in March 2024, and on March 19, 2025, reached a tentative agreement on a three-year contract.
Information on this year's Holiday Happy Hour, a reminder on the Wage Compression Plan, and information you'll need on taking holidays, gift days, and earn codes. A big thank you to everyone this holiday season!
The second finalist for the UIS Assistant Vice Chancellor for Human Resources will be interviewing on campus today, Nov. 20.
An open forum will take place from 3 to 3:45 p.m. in UHB 3080 for interested faculty and staff to attend and learn more about the candidate. A Zoom option is available, but in-person attendance is strongly encouraged. Participants on Zoom will be able to ask questions via the chat function only.
