The Project for Public Safety and Justice (PPSJ) at the University of Illinois Springfield is successor to the Center for Public Safety and Justice (CPSJ) at the University of Illinois Chicago. CPSJ was founded in 1997 as one of the original Regional Community Policing Institutes created through the establishment of the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services within the U.S. Department of Justice.

DBHR DUI Presenter Information

Leslie Berkley, M.S. has a B.S. in Community Health Education (UIUC, 1979) an M.S. in Human Resources (National Lewis University 1982) and is a CADC. She is self employed in the field of Substance Abuse Counseling and has been so for over seventeen (17) years.  Leslie has been working in the field of Substance Abuse for over twenty (20) years and prior to that was employed as a caseworker for the Cook County Social Service Department.
