Today, the University of Illinois System announced it will require that all students receive a COVID-19 vaccination if they plan to be on campus for the Fall 2021 semester.
The University of Illinois Springfield Innovation Hub, the UIS Center for State Policy and Leadership and the Community Health Roundtable will host a free public webinar titled “The Lasting Effects of COVID-19 on Patients, the Health Care System and the World” via Zoom at noon Friday.

Today, Illinois enters the “Bridge to Phase 5” of the Restore Illinois plan, which further relaxes COVID-19 restrictions. This is a welcome development indicative of important progress in our pandemic journey.

University of Illinois Springfield athletes may be at home, but during remote learning they were still actively training with athletics staff and preparing for their next season.
