For the second consecutive year, the University of Illinois Springfield has earned the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence, presented to Division II institutions that achieve an Academic Success Rate (ASR) of 90 percent or higher.

UIS is one of just 43 Division II schools to receive the honor this year and one of only three GLVC institutions—alongside Maryville and Rockhurst—to be recognized. UIS is also the only DII institution in Illinois to earn the Presidents' Award this year.
