The Illinois Springfield women's soccer team returns to Missouri this weekend for another pair of GLVC matchups — visiting Lincoln on Friday evening in Jefferson City, followed by a Sunday afternoon contest at Missouri-St. Louis.

Friday’s home volleyball match against William Jewell is the UIS Faculty/Staff Appreciation Game. Faculty and staff members can show their ID at the ticket gate and receive up to four free tickets for the match.

The llinois Springfield volleyball team returns home for a pair of GLVC matches this weekend at TRAC. The Prairie Stars host William Jewell on Friday at 6:00 p.m. for a #WeAreStars Night, bringing all Prairie Stars together in support of the team. Friday's match will also feature Faculty & Staff Appreciation recognition pregame.
On Saturday at 3:00 p.m., UIS will hold its Dig Pink match presented by Springfield Clinic, featuring a bake sale and ribbon sales in support of the American Cancer Society.
The Illinois Springfield women's golf team earned a third-place team finish at the Bill Crabtree Invitational, hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Ky. The Prairie Stars finished at +42 after rounds of 304 and 314, trailing only Maryville (+35) and McKendree (+38) in the seven-team field.
Illinois Springfield women's tennis player Alisha Deogaonkar capped an impressive weekend with a semifinal appearance in Flight C singles at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships.
Deogaonkar earned three straight wins to reach the final four, including a hard-fought three-set victory over Hillsdale's Sydney Singh in the second round. Her run ended Monday morning after dropping a competitive 6-4, 6-3 battle against Lara Sener (Roosevelt).
Weekend play continues into the start of the new week for women's golf and tennis. Looking ahead to the weekend, soccer is on the road and volleyball returns to TRAC, both in GLVC play. It's also a big weekend for UIS cross country at the Lewis Crossover.

The UIS men's soccer team fell 3-2 to Missouri S&T in a thrilling Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup on Sunday afternoon at Kiwanis Stadium. The Prairie Stars drop to 2-6-2 overall and 1-5-1 in GLVC play, while the Miners improved to 5-3-1 overall and 3-3-0 in conference play.
The UIS women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Missouri S&T in Great Lakes Valley Conference play on Sunday afternoon at Kiwanis Stadium. The Prairie Stars fall to 1-6-3 overall and 0-5-2 in GLVC play.
The UIS women's tennis team wrapped up a strong weekend of competition at the ITA Midwest Regional, highlighted by Alisha Deogaonkar's run to the Flight C singles semifinals.
Singles
Deogaonkar opened play with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Tiffin's Ashley Reinhart, then battled back for a 1-6, 6-3, [10-8] win against Sydney Singh of Hillsdale in the Round of 16. She advanced to the semifinals after defeating McKendree's Diana Calzada 6-3, 6-3, and will face Roosevelt's Lara Sener on Monday morning.
