The Illinois Springfield baseball team heads to the Sunshine State this weekend for a four-game road series against Florida Southern in Lakeland, Fla. Games will be played at Henley Field.

Illinois Springfield softball will host the UIS Springfield Clinic Classic this Thursday and Friday inside the Springfield Clinic Dome at Scheels Sports Park. The event marks the first collegiate softball games played in the new indoor facility and begins a 10-game homestand for the Prairie Stars.

Illinois Springfield men's basketball fell to No. 24 Missouri S&T, 87-66, at Gibson Arena on Tuesday night. UIS (15-8, 11-4 GLVC) was unable to overcome Missouri S&T's 16 three-pointers.
Illinois Springfield women's basketball (10-13, 7-8 GLVC) secured a decisive victory over Missouri S&T (8-12, 4-10 GLVC), 66-45, with a strong defensive effort that forced 24 turnovers. This win marks the third consecutive victory for the Prairie Stars over Missouri S&T, further solidifying their dominance in recent matchups between the teams.
UIS Softball will play its next 10 games at the Springfield Clinic Dome at Scheels Sports Park, hosting two tournaments and an additional doubleheader in the climate-controlled facility.

UIS men's basketball, the top-ranked team in the GLVC Point Rating System (PRS) at 4.00, travels to Rolla, Mo., to face Missouri S&T in a matchup originally scheduled for late January before winter weather forced a postponement. The Prairie Stars and the Miners will tip off at 7:30 p.m.

Rosie Bartletti was named GLVC Pitcher of the Week after a dominant four-game stretch Feb. 6-7. The right-hander went 2-1 while posting a 0.00 earned run average across 14.1 innings, striking out 22 batters and allowing just seven hits and four walks. Bartletti won both of her starts.
