Greetings UIS Community,
The PAC plumbing project is progressing well and is on schedule with approximately 30-40% of the initial project phase completed.
As part of this current phase, temporary adjustments will be made to elevator and entrance availability:
- The Tower 3 elevator will be temporarily unavailable from July 14 to August 11. During this time, it will be used exclusively by contractors to transport materials between floors.
- The Tower 2 elevator will serve as the primary elevator for faculty, staff, and students.
- The Tower 1 elevator remains out of service due to ongoing major repairs.
- The 2nd floor entrance of Tower 3, pictured below, will be temporarily closed beginning July 14 to allow the contractor to work in that area. All other entrances will remain open and accessible.
