UIS Men's Golf Wraps Up Play at Las Vegas Desert Classic

The Illinois Springfield men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Las Vegas Desert Classic on Tuesday, finishing 20th with a total score of 922 (+58) after three rounds of play at Boulder Creek Golf Club. Tournament Recap
Sacha Lamraski led the team with a solid performance, finishing the tournament at eight-over par. He improved in his final round, carding a 73.
Julien Babineau followed with a score of 17-over par, highlighted by 10 birdies—the most on the team.
Daniel Edwards matched Babineau at 17-over par, remaining consistent across all three rounds.
Jake Baldin and Francesco Abba Jr. rounded out the lineup, finishing at 18-over par and 19-over par, respectively. Baldin led the team with 33 total pars.
The Prairie Stars combined for 33 birdies and 143 pars over the tournament. The team averaged 3.50 strokes on par-3 holes, 4.31 on par-4s, and 5.03 on par-5s.
