The Illinois Springfield women's golf team sits in 15th place after the first round of the NCAA Division II East Regional at The Meadows at Grand Valley State. The Prairie Stars combined for a team score of 327 on Monday.

• Sara Prieto delivered the highlight of the day with a hole-in-one on the par-3 13th hole. She finished the round with an 81 (+9).
• Elaine Grant led UIS with a 77 (+5), carding a 37 on the front nine and a 40 on the back.
• Lia Rody followed with an 82 (+10), and Ira Joshi shot 87 (+15). Isabelle Segal rounded out the team's scoring with a 93 (+21).
