All printing

Campus Services is responsible for all University-related printing, whether produced on campus or by commercial vendors.

The purchase of printing, whether by Purchase Order or by P-card is a restricted purchase, as detailed in Section 7.2 of the Business and Financial Policies and Procedures manual.

To ensure that the policies set forth by the State of Illinois are adhered to, Campus Services is responsible for all University-related printing, whether produced on campus or by commercial vendors.

Course packets

Campus Services also offers full-service course packet preparation, including copyright clearance, duplicating, binding, and delivery to the UIS Bookstore for sale to students.

The campus’ copyright policy, established November 1, 1995, states that all course packet materials that are to be sold in the bookstore must have copyright approvals in writing (for the complete policy, see Copyright in the Professional Roles and Responsibilities section of the Academic Staff Handbook).

This service provides a mechanism for faculty to be in full compliance with the policy and copyright laws. The academic department or program must pay for unsold bookstore copies. Please allow 8 to 10 weeks for copyright clearance.

For assistance or additional information, call Campus Services (6-6776).
