- The Department of Art, Music and Theatre
The Department of Art, Music, and Theatre fosters study in the practical application of various arts disciplines, as well as study in the historical, cultural, and philosophical underpinnings of each discipline.
Performing Arts Center
A valuable arts resource of the University of Illinois Springfield, the Performing Arts Center, formerly Sangamon Auditorium, opened its doors in 1981 as the result of a community effort to establish a performing arts facility in the Illinois state capital city.
