Performing Arts Center

A valuable arts resource of the University of Illinois Springfield, UIS Performing Arts Center (Sangamon Auditorium) opened its doors in 1981 as the result of a community effort to establish a performing arts facility in the Illinois state capital city. Throughout our history, our audiences have experienced a broad spectrum of the highest quality of music, theater, and dance. We are the only venue of this kind and size in Sangamon County, drawing audiences from a 14-county semi-rural region.

UIS Ticket Office

The UIS Ticket Office is located on Level 1 of the Public Affairs Center (just inside entrance of circle drive), on the campus of the University of Illinois Springfield.

Monday – Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
