The Office of Web and Digital Strategy has added the capability for editors to now submit articles to be published to the Orbit website. The Orbit website is our Internal Communication Hub, meant to improve internal communications and streamline access to resources for employees.
Mobile App Development Procedures
- Submit mobile app development requests to webservices@uis.edu prior to beginning development. A personal developer account will be required to access the Apple and Google UIS developer dashboard.
- Upon approval, follow procedures outlined in the Web Policy for analysis, content guidelines, and design requirements (concepts should follow brand standards).

All unit website files, such as information and policy pages, databases, applications, photos, media files, etc. must reside in the unit website or in an account designated by the Web Server Administrator. These files may not reside in Personal Web Accounts, eDocs/Box accounts, or on off-campus servers.

The Office of Web Services has updated the site to a new administrative theme! Claro, provides a clear admin user interface, with a more modern look and feel. The new design "defines a complete set of principals, patterns, and tools for building a coherent and user-friendly Drupal administrative user interface" . The initiative to update the administrative theme is to make Drupal compatible with decoupled applications and to make browsing easier for end users.
