Due to the increasing cost of licensing Turnitin, as well as their decision to charge extra for AI detection tools, UIS has moved to Copyleaks as our campus plagiarism and AI content detection tool. A pilot was conducted during the Spring 2024 semester, and the results indicated that Copyleaks is a good fit for UIS.
