The University of Illinois Springfield Athletic Department has announced the induction of four new members into the Prairie Stars Hall of Fame. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, as part of the university's homecoming week celebrations.
Pablo Herrera and Marissa Roggensack have been selected as the University of Illinois Springfield's male and female recipients of the 2025-26 GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.
The UIS Flag Football program has launched its first-ever Flash Store as the Prairie Stars prepare for the 2026-27 academic year, the inaugural season for the newest varsity program at UIS.
Fans can purchase official UIS Flag Football apparel, including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, polos, quarter-zips, and more. The online-only store is open through Monday, July 20, giving Prairie Stars supporters an opportunity to be among the first to represent the program with exclusive gear.
