This article describes what users can do through the Ricoh Streamline NX User Console for the UIS Printing Service. Users will be able to view or reset their PIN, assign Delegates, see print jobs that they have sent to the UIS Printing Service Queue, and view their Print Queue History.

Login to the Ricoh Streamline NX User Console for UIS Printing Service using NetID and password

  • To view an assigned PIN, click the Display User PIN button.
    • The users PIN will be displayed in a pop-up box on the page. Once done viewing the PIN click OK
  • To reset a PIN, click the Change User PIN button.
    • A pop-up box will appear asking "Are you sure you want to generate a new User PIN?" Click Yes
    • The pop-up box will show the request processing then a notification "The user PIN has been generated successfully." click OK
    • An email will be sent with the new PIN or to view the PIN follow the directions above.

Delegations

The Delegations section is where users can assign a colleague that is able to release print jobs sent to the UIS Printing service on their behalf.

Assigning Delegations

To assign a delegate be sure that the person that you are wanting to assign has either logged into the Ricoh Streamline NX User Console or has setup the service on their computer to print and has a PIN. 

  1. Login to the Ricoh Streamline NX User Console for UIS Printing Service using NetID and password
  2. In the Delegation section on the User Info page click the +Add button then locate the colleague that you would like to assign as a delegate in the Select Delegation User pop-up. Once the colleague has been located check the box next to their name and click OK at the bottom of the pop-up.

  3. Make sure the correct name is in the delegation box and click Save at the bottom of the page.

If the delegation is no longer wanted or needed log back in to the Ricoh Streamline NX User Console for UIS Printing Service. Go to the Delegation section, click the delegates name then click the Delete button at the top of the box and click Save.

Delegations Printing

  1. Login to Ricoh device using either PIN or NetID and password

  2. Touch the Select Job Owner button to see a list of colleagues you are allowed to print for

  3. Tap the name of the person you are printing for to highlight the name then touch OK

  4. The name of the job owner will now appear in the upper left corner of the display with the available print jobs listed below select the print job then tap Start

  5. When done printing touch Logout in the upper right corner of the display

Job Queue

Users can see the print jobs that that they have sent to the UIS Printing Service and see the name of the print job, the number of pages,  when they sent it, the file size, how many they are printing, if it is a duplexed print, if it color or black & white, and delete jobs without needing to go to one of the printing devices.

  1. At the top of the page click the Job Queue tab
  2. Next click the Print tab on the Job Queue page to see your print jobs and the details related to the print job
    1. Job Name: the name of the file that was sent to be printed
    2. Number of Pages: number of pages the document has
    3. Date: when the print job was sent to the print service
    4. File Size (KB): the size of the file that was sent to the printer
    5. Quantity: the number of copies requested to be printed
    6. Sides: identifies if the print is to print on 1 side of the paper or both sides
    7. Color / B&W: whether the print was sent to be printed in Color or Black & White
  3. Delete a print job
    1. Select the print job in the list
    2. Click Delete
    3. A confirmation pop-up box will be displayed if this is the print job to be deleted click Yes and the print job will be removed from the print queue

 

Job History

Users can see their Job History that will lists all prints, scans, and copies and the charges for each.

To access Job History login to the Ricoh Streamline NX User Console for UIS Printing Service using NetID and password. Once logged in click the Job History tab at the top of the page.
