On January 14, UIS Chancellor Susan J. Koch, UI President Timothy Killeen and the UIS community gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the Student Union. Since fundraising efforts began, 225 donors have made gifts ranging from $5 to $1,500,000. These gifts come from people who are excited to see a Student Union at UIS.
