SPRINGFIELD, IL (February 27, 2023) – UIS Speech and Debate participated in their their competition of the semester in a virtual tournament hosted by the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. The Good Life Tournament featured competition from thirty schools across the country. UIS was represented in this competition by returning competitor Clark Morgan and first-year student Yasmin Palencia. Morgan placed sixth in impromptu speaking.
