SPRINGFIELD, IL (February 20, 2023) – UIS Speech and Debate recently attended the Feline Frolic Tournament hosted by Doane University in Crete, NE. This tournament featured competition from twenty-five universities from around the country. Returning team member Clark Morgan represented UIS in impromptu speaking.
"The team continues to get better and better with each competition. We're always learning more about our events and perfecting our techniques and approaches" says Director of Speech and Debate Timothy Bill.
The University of Illinois Springfield Speech and Debate Team is committed to training the next generation of civic leaders, public speakers, and communicators who are passionate about creating change in their communities. The team is open to undergraduate students of any major.
