Nicole Girard serves as a representative for the Leadership for Life Service Program, is the secretary of the Pre-Health Society, a member of Biology Club and works as a learning assistant for general chemistry. “I chose UIS for the small class sizes and its closeness to my hometown,” she said. “I love how tight-knit the community is and how easy it is to build great relationships with the UIS professors and faculty.” Following graduation from UIS, she plans to attend medical school.
