Among new capital projects for UIS included in the Illinois General Assembly’s public works construction program is a $35 million, 50,000-square-foot library and student learning success center. The building will be situated between the Health and Sciences Building and the Student Union. Chancellor Susan Koch said the goal is to have “shovels in the ground” by 2020.
