This student-centered, three-story, 52,000-square-foot facility will co-locate essential services including the the library, academic and advising support, career development and technical support into one accessible, collaborative environment. It’s designed for flexibility, energy efficiency, and ease of navigation, with group and quiet study areas, computer stations, open seating, and a 100+-seat flexible classroom.

UIS expects the Library Commons to open in fall 2027.
