The baseball team (47-9) had a 29-game winning streak, won the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) regular-season title, earned its first ever Division II regional wins and hit a new school-record with 47 wins. The softball team hit a school-record for wins (40-19), claimed the GLVC regular-season title, earned UIS its first regional title and national ranking in softball. Players and coaches alike received conference honors, including Coach of the Year recognition in each sport.
