Freddy O. Sermeno III is the new member educator and historian for the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity chapter at the University of Illinois Springfield. He also works as a student lead at UIS Brookens Library. “I choose UIS because I wanted to experience life outside the city and enjoy the journey on my own while not being too far from home,” he said. “What I like about UIS the most is the fact that there are so many resources at your fingertips for whatever you need and so many people who are always down to help you.” Following graduation from UIS, he plans to seek out job opportunities in the Chicago-area, while spending time with family.
