Demand for certified athletic trainers and physical therapists will continue to increase in the coming years according to current reports. UIS is preparing students through the undergraduate Exercise Science degree program, which incorporates hands-on training and experience in their lab. A master’s program in athletic training will be offered starting with the fall 2018 semester.
