Pam Francis, administrative aide for library administration, has been named the University of Illinois Springfield Employee of the Month for December 2025.
Francis’ kindness and compassion make her a great asset to the library team.
“She cares deeply about each person and process in the library and our campus, and it shows in the quality of her work and in her willingness and joy to assist anyone who needs it,” her nominator said.
Francis is always available to help anyone on campus who needs it.
“Pamela deserves to be recognized for her commitment to our university and for the amazing employee and person that she is,” her nominator said.
Francis’ supervisor, Jamie Weber, complimented her positive mindset, which encourages others to focus on seeking solutions to issues.
“Pam is a true cheerleader for the library and UIS at large with the blue and gold pom poms to prove it,” Weber said.
When Francis is assigned a task, her supervisor never has to worry if it will be completed.
“She is consistently reliable, trustworthy, efficient, accountable and goal-oriented,” Weber said.
Outside of her role at UIS, Francis is involved in multiple areas of campus, including the Rising Stars planning committee and CSAC.
