2023 Commencement
UIS celebrated its latest Commencement exercise on Saturday, May 13, 2023. It officially culminated our 2022-2023 academic year. If you are a current student I hope this past year has been a solid educational experience for you at UIS. Another year and progress towards your own graduation. For alumni, I hope UIS has been on your minds. Whether as a distant graduation or a more recent memory, I hope your UIS experience lives on. And for faculty and staff, I hope you recognize that this graduation was your graduation too because you made that happen for our students. CPAE graduated some 700 students strong on Commencement Day 2023. Students earned their doctorates, masters and bachelor’s degrees. Across the fields of Communication, Education, Legal Studies, Politics and International Affairs, and Public Management and Policy, it was a proud day to see CPAE graduates walk across the stage. Sincere congratulations from the Dean’s Office, faculty, and staff, fellow students, and alumni and friends to all our 2023 May graduates!! Best wishes for safe and restful summer!!
