The UIS men's basketball team announced three additional newcomers for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday. The newest Prairie Stars are Adidas Davis, Marlon Williams, and Isaiah Davis.

Adidas Davis comes to UIS from Highland Community College, where he was coached by Luke Norman. Adidas is a 6-foot-3 junior guard from Chicago and attended Buffalo Grove High School, where he earned All-Area and All-Conference honors. Last year at Highland, Adidas was first-team All-Region and second on the team in points per game at 15.2, shooting 42.9% from three-point range.

"Adidas is a dynamic lefty guard coming from a very strong league," head coach Matt Brock said. "He can really shoot the ball and loves to compete. He will fit in very nicely with our current roster. We're excited to have him in our program!"

Isaiah Davis is a 6-foot-5 guard who comes to UIS by way of Aurora University under Coach Steve Christiansen. Davis, a Kankakee, Illinois, native, has a 41% three-point shooting rate in his two-year career. He was selected as a Second-Team All-Conference performer, one season after being named NACC Freshman of the Year. He averaged 12.5 points while pulling down 4.7 rebounds per game and led the team with 1.5 steals per contest.

"Isaiah is a big-time shooter," Brock said. "He has had a lot of success at the college level, and we expect that to translate nicely to the GLVC. He has a lot of gravity and will help us space the floor effectively. Isaiah is a great addition to our team!"

Marlon Williams is a 6-foot-7 junior forward from Benton Harbor, Michigan, who spent the last two years at Macomb Community College under Coach Christopher Burns. Last year, the Monarchs were conference and region champions and finished fifth in the national tournament. Williams helped Macomb accumulate 61 wins over a two-year span. Marlon was named third-team All-Conference last year and earned Region 12 All-Tournament Team honors. He averaged 12.6 points per game and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 35% from three.

"Marlon is a versatile lefty wing who is used to winning," Brock said. "He rebounds the ball at a high rate and can stretch the floor. He will give us some much-needed size and experience. Stars fans will love Marlon!"

"We looked for character, talent, IQ, and production in this class, and these guys checked all those boxes. They are serious students as well as athletes and will compete in a way that our campus and city will appreciate. We hope we can get more people out to TRAC this year to watch Springfield's team!"

The three transfers complete the 2025 signing class for the Prairie Stars. Incoming freshmen—6-foot-10 Alex Stell, 6-foot-3 Lyncoln Koester, 5-foot-11 Evan Simon, and 6-foot-5 Domas Narcevicius—will also join the roster this fall.
